Job Description & Summary
Experienced project manager sought for internal PMO at PwC
Are you a professionally skilled project manager with a solid toolbox, and are you motivated by leading projects that affect many stakeholders and touchpoints? Do you thrive on sparring, sharing your knowledge and elevating those around you, then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.
Become part of PwC's internal PMO
We are the team behind the projects that shape PwC from within and make a difference across the organization. Our focus is on broad initiatives that often rhyme with IT and development, but it can be other types of projects. Now we are looking for a strong project manager who can help lift this effort.
You will become part of PwC's internal Project Management Office (PMO), which today consists of 11 employees. The team is built around two disciplines that work closely together: PMO and Change Management. PMO works with portfolio management, project governance and project management, as well as Change Management, which combines change management, project management and communication. The close interaction between the disciplines ensures an interdisciplinary approach to our projects.
The team is characterized by a strong collaboration culture, where we help each other across and are ambitious for both our own and each other's sake.
Lead projects and elevate the team's professional competency
As a project manager in PMO you will lead projects across the organization and ensure progress, effective stakeholder management and a strong collaboration in the project team. At the same time you will become a subject-matter sparring partner for the entire team, which consists of project managers, change managers, data and AI competencies and student assistants. We therefore expect that you are keen to share and contribute to strengthening our joint project management professionalism.
Your tasks will therefore be to
- Lead and drive internal projects at PwC
- Develop project plans, allocate resources and time-estimate projects
- Coordinate communication and change management efforts
- Identify risks and issues and ensure that the project creates the greatest possible value for the business
- Spar with and inspire colleagues across the team and contribute to strengthening our shared professionalism
Contribute with your experience as a strong project leader
We know that you cannot know everything in advance. Therefore, the most important for us is that you:
- Have documented experience in project management and PMO roles and thus have handled several projects simultaneously
- Have a relevant academic background e.g. a master’s degree or similar
- Have knowledge of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, SCRUM or similar
- Have knowledge of project management tools and software
- Work in a structured and proactive manner and be able to navigate a complex organization with many stakeholders
- Are passionate about sparring and sharing your knowledge and want to raise the professionalism of those around you
Grow here. Go further.
As part of PwC you are both part of a market success and a place that is nice to be in. It is in the interplay between the two that trust is built, you learn new things and develop. Together with your colleagues you help create innovative solutions for business and the society we are all part of.
