Experienced Public Affairs specialist for Radius CPH

Our public affairs business is growing significantly, and more and more clients are requesting heavy strategic advisory at the intersection of politics, communication and business. Therefore we are now seeking an experienced Public Affairs specialist who will play a central role in advising our clients and developing our public affairs business and expertise at Radius CPH.

At Radius CPH we advise some of the leading companies in Danish business life and organizations with large societal impact. What they have in common is that they are not only affected by political decisions but also central voices in the public debate and actors with influence on the development of future framework conditions.

We are looking for a profile who has themselves been part of the political machinery and at the same time understands the reality of companies. In an ideal world you have both experienced the decision-making processes from within and worked to influence them on behalf of a company or organization. You understand the dynamics of the entire political decision chain and know how political agendas realistically become decisions.

At the same time you can combine your political insight with a strong understanding of our clients’ business, purpose and strategic challenges and translate that knowledge into relevant advice and new opportunities.

Your tasks and areas of responsibility

You will become a central part of a public affairs team in growth and will play an important role in developing both clients, business and professional expertise.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

• Develop and drive complex public affairs strategies, execute initiatives for our clients and as client lead set the professional and strategic direction for the tasks.
• Be responsible for creating new business opportunities in the public affairs area by translating your knowledge of political openings and actively using your network to establish collaborations and projects.
• Use your knowledge of political and regulatory risks and opportunities to advise senior executives and management on business opportunities at the intersection of politics, communication and business.
• Help strengthen Radius' position as one of Denmark's strongest advisory environments within public affairs.
• Take responsibility for contributing to the development of colleagues, clients and professional expertise in the house.

Who are you?

You probably have 8+ years of experience and have been close to the decisions that shape the conditions for companies.

We imagine that you

• Have experience from the political machinery and a strong network among decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Have experience representing companies or organizations to politicians, authorities and other key stakeholders.
• Can combine political insight with business understanding and actively use this combination to identify opportunities for business development and projects for new and existing clients.
• Have appetite for and preferably experience with handling crisis cases and challenges that arise when politics, media, regulation and business collide.
• Preferably have experience with or strong interest in heavily regulated industries such as finance, life science, tech, food or energy.
• Have influence and naturally function as a trusted advisor to leadership.
