Experienced sidewalk maintenance worker for Operations and Service

Your day-to-day job

As an employee at Drift and Service the tasks will be very varied.

You will, among other things, come to work with

• renovation and replacement of all types of sidewalk pavements in Herning Municipality
• preparation and setup for upcoming asphalt work
• work closely with the other teams in the road area, including replacement of covers and road wells and larger renovations and repairs of sidewalks and road facilities
• participation in winter service and assistance for larger events, e.g. elections and other ad hoc tasks.

Educationally we imagine that you have a solid background in paving / construction work. Either as a construction operative, paving worker or with many years of experience from a similar position.

Most importantly is that you

• work carefully, are structured and have an eye for detail
• can plan your working day and, in cooperation with the team, take on the tasks that are solved collectively
• approach tasks with professionalism and a positive attitude
• are flexible, and ready to adapt to changing work situations
• have a driving license of at least category B.

You will become part of a team within the road area in Drift and Service, but will have close collaboration with the other employees. You will report to the head of the road area, Johnny Knude.

This is a 37-hour position, Monday-Thursday 07.00 – 15.30, Friday 07.00 – 12.00.

Other salary and employment terms will be agreed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
