We are strengthening our presence on Zealand and therefore are looking for a structural engineer who thrives in dialogue with customers and sees opportunities where others see tasks.

You will become part of our Building & Design East department based at the Måløv office, where you will work with skilled and engaged colleagues across several disciplines. A substantial part of your time will be spent with customers, where you become an important representative for OBH and our advisory services. You will therefore have great freedom to plan your day yourself and create value close to the customers.

Therefore we are seeking a structural engineer who not only is interested in load-bearing structures but also is motivated to understand the customer's business and translate needs into value-creating solutions.

About the position

As a structural engineer you will become an important sparring partner for our customers. You will combine your technical expertise with the ability to build relationships and identify opportunities where OBH can help the customer across our competencies.

You are often the first person the customer calls, and therefore you play a central role in understanding both the current project and the opportunities within the customer's other needs. You help ensure that customers experience coherent advisory and have access to the right competencies in the organization.

A typical workday for you will consist of

• Customer meetings and advisory with existing and potential customers
• Design of load-bearing structures for renovation projects and smaller extensions
• Sparring with customers on technical solutions and projects
• Identification of new advisory and collaboration opportunities
• Coordination with project managers and other disciplines
• Preparation of static documentation and documentation in accordance with BR18
• Participation in bid work and development of customer relations
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues in construction, energy, occupational health and other areas

You as a candidate

You are first and foremost a strong structural engineer with a solid technical foundation. At the same time you are motivated by contact with customers and thrive on representing the company externally.

You are interested in more than the concrete task and naturally seek to understand the customer's overall challenges and opportunities. You work in a structured way, take responsibility for your own activities and thrive in a role with a high degree of autonomy and customer contact.

Qualifications

• Educated as a structural engineer, preferably with at least five years' experience in the consultancy industry
• Experience with design of load-bearing structures (concrete)
• Experience with customer dialogue, advisory and relationship building is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Danish, written and spoken
• Based on Zealand
• Driver's license for a passenger car
