Fårupgård Youth Center seeks hourly paid substitutes for day and evening shifts in the Godset department

Do you want to help make a difference for young people in vulnerable positions? Do you have the time and willingness to step in when we need extra hands – and can you meet young people with calmness, clarity and presence?

About the job

The Godset department is part of Fårupgård Youth Center and houses up to 8 young people aged 12–23 who are placed due to, among other things, behavioral disorders, psychiatric difficulties, substance abuse or other social vulnerability. We are seeking hourly paid substitutes who can cover in cases of illness, vacation, course and increased need – both day and evening shifts (including weekends).

As a temporary worker you will play an important role in daily life and relationship-building with the youths. You work closely with the regular staff and contribute to structure, stability and pedagogical continuity.

Your tasks will include

• Participating in daily contact and relationship-building with the young people
• Supporting structure and norms in everyday life
• Participating in practical tasks and activities
• Contributing to documentation and professional reflections
• Being able to maintain calm and overview in unforeseen situations

We expect that you

• Are eager to work with young people with complex issues
• Meet young people with clarity, respect and warmth
• Are flexible and can work both weekdays and weekends
• Can engage in professional collaboration with the regular staff
• Have experience with pedagogical work – or a strong motivation to learn
