About the job
Would you like a versatile job where you combine practical maintenance, planning and responsibility – and where your work can be seen in every guest experience?
As Facility Manager at First Camp Hasmark Strand Resort you will have a key role in creating a well-maintained, safe and inviting environment for both guests and colleagues. Here you will have the opportunity to work broadly with operations, improvements and development of the facility – year-round – in a company that is constantly growing and developing.
Who is First Camp?
We are Northern Europe’s leading group in camping and resorts with 93 destinations across 6 countries. Together we are on an exciting journey with a clear, shared vision: to create a world-leading camping chain – where we are the first choice for guests, employees and the camping industry in Europe.
We challenge what already exists, and create the solutions that do not yet exist. Sustainable development and data-driven insights into our guests and employees are important focus areas as we together create moments of happiness – every day.
What does the role entail?
As Facility Manager you are responsible for ensuring that the destination’s buildings, facilities and outdoor areas are maintained and function as they should – year round.
The work is both practical and planned: you perform ongoing maintenance, repairs and improvements, lead seasonal staff in operations and ensure that everyday life runs efficiently and safely.
You work closely with the Destination Manager Yasar Nazir, plan maintenance, follow up on status and contribute to the long-term development of the facility.
The role is autonomous, varied and important for the whole – where your commitment can be felt in both quality and guest experience.
The work includes, among other things
- Responsibility for maintenance of buildings, technical installations, playgrounds and green areas.
- Carry out smaller carpentry, repair and service tasks, and ensure proper use and maintenance of machines and tools.
- Perform rounds, inspections and reporting and follow up on necessary actions.
- Plan the week’s work and lead seasonal staff in operations with clarity and structure.
- Collaborate with the property department on projects and long-term planning.
- Contribute to safety, fire protection and order at the destination.
- Exude a high level of service and professional hospitality in contact with guests and colleagues.
- Work proactively and contribute to improved routines, standards and workflows.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a responsible and practically oriented person with a strong interest in maintenance, quality and service. You thrive on taking initiative, planning your work and taking responsibility for getting things done – always with a focus on safety, order and well-being.
To succeed in the role we would like you to have
- A relevant vocational education in property service, construction, technical or equivalent experience.
- Experience with maintenance work, property management or craft.
- Good planning and leadership skills as well as teamwork abilities.
- Ability to instruct and follow up on seasonal staff.
- Basic IT skills and administrative structure.
- Good communication skills in Danish and English.
- Driver’s license (Category B) and ability to use the destination’s vehicles in work.
- It’s an advantage if you have experience from camping, hotel or another service-oriented business.
As a person you are meticulous, solution-oriented and helpful. You value seeing the results of your work and are proud to create surroundings where both guests and colleagues thrive. You are down-to-earth, collaborative and contribute to a culture where everyone helps each other to reach common goals.
What do we offer?
With us you become part of an ambitious company with both heart and action. The role gives you the opportunity to influence, develop and grow – while working closely with people and business.
Our shared values guide our daily actions

We Simplify – Momentum, together with the desire to learn, means we constantly improve and develop the way we work. We make it easy for each other – it should be easy to do the right thing for both colleagues and guests.
We Deliver Results – We focus in all we do on delivering results for our guests, colleagues and the business as a whole. The goals are high, and we succeed best when we use both heart and mind.
We offer a workplace with good development opportunities and caring colleagues who share both experiences and laughs. Together we will continue our success journey and grow with more leaders who want to help shape the future of First Camp.
