Subject teacher for the chimney sweep education

We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about the chimney sweep trade and who has the desire and interest – or experience – to help both young people and adults through an exciting education.

We need a vocational teacher to instruct our capable students, but also to develop the chimney sweep education at EUC Syd.

Qualifications

We expect that you

• are a trained chimney sweep
• have solid professional experience within the field
• can express yourself fluently both in writing and verbally in Danish
• can apply information technology in connection with the work
• can communicate in one or preferably several foreign languages.

• has the ability to engage with young people and function as a role model.

Salary and employment terms

Employment and remuneration are based on qualifications and in accordance with the Danish Ministry of Education circular no. 101 of 1 February 2007 on terms of employment for civil service‑like staff at institutions for vocational education and catering departments.

There is a two-year probation period and an attractive pension scheme attached to the position.

Applicants without a pedagogical education must complete a pedagogical diploma no later than 4 years after employment.

The workplace is EUC Syd’s chimney sweep department in Tønder.
