Academic Coordinator for Sirius Moltkesvej

At Sirius Moltkesvej we are looking for a qualified pedagogue or social worker who wants to take on greater professional responsibility and help develop both the pedagogical practice and the collaboration within the staff group.

We are building professionally strong teams where competencies, collaboration and a shared view of humanity go hand in hand. As a professional coordinator you will play a central role in this development.

A professional key person close to practice

You will become an important sparring partner for the day-to-day manager and your colleagues with responsibility for supporting professional quality and creating cohesion in daily life.

Employees work in 12- and 24-hour shifts, and therefore good handovers, common professional approaches and clear communication are essential.

Your main tasks will be to

• Support the social-pedagogical quality, documentation and work with residents' goals.
• Coordinate handovers and contribute to staff meetings and professional discussions.
• Advise colleagues in pedagogical methods and concrete professional dilemmas.
• Contribute to onboarding of new employees and the development of a strong professional community.

It is not a pure coordinator position behind a desk. You will also have time close to the residents and your colleagues in daily practice. We believe that good professional coordination requires insight into the everyday life you are involved in developing.

The position is a permanent role with working hours primarily Monday to Friday during daytime hours, but weekend shifts may occur on a rotation.

Who are you?

You are a trained pedagogue or social worker and preferably have experience from the specialized social sector, especially residential care or working with people with complex support needs.

• Are relationship-focused and can motivate, guide and gather colleagues around common goals.
• Work in a structured way, take responsibility and dare to challenge habits with respect and professional curiosity.

You do not need to have been a coordinator before. The most important is that you have professional depth, can build trust and want to make others more skilled.

About Sirius Moltkesvej and The Social-Pedagogical Organisation

Sirius Moltkesvej is located in Ruds Vedby and is a specialized residential facility under the Danish Service Act sections 107 and 108 for adults with complex support needs.
