About the job
In Kalundborg Municipality's Centre for Children and Family we are seeking an engaged family navigator for the Department of Early Intervention for preventive work before a case is opened in the centre.
We are looking for a colleague who believes that the best solutions are created together with children, youths, families and their networks. A colleague who is curious about people, strong in relationship work and motivated to work closely with families' everyday lives.
Who are we?
Early Intervention consists of 1 family navigator and 14 child- and youth advisors, who together work to ensure that children aged 0-18 and their families receive the right support as early as possible. You will be attached to the child- and youth advisors in the Department of Early Intervention.
We are focused on creating coherent and effective interventions around the child and the family. Therefore we work based on relational capacity, involvement of the family's network and close interdisciplinary collaboration with schools, preschools, health visitors and other partners.
We operate from a fundamental belief that families do the best they can, and that lasting changes are created through respectful collaboration, clear goals and shared responsibility.
Dine opgaver The tasks as a family navigator are varied and include, among other things, offering families concrete and practical guidance, e.g. to create and maintain an everyday structure that lays the groundwork for predictability for the whole family and thereby ensure stability. This can include guidance regarding morning routines, bedtimes and preparing the school bag. In addition, there will be tasks to support the child- and youth advisors and other partners in their work with a focus on the children/young people's well-being and development, for example by participating in collaboration meetings.
A part of the position will consist of facilitating and conducting group leadership in Forældrepiloterne – a manual-based group program in STIEN – Easily Accessible Treatment Offer, which belongs to the Health Act. The program is aimed at parents of children who experience challenges with restlessness, attention and impulsivity. To prepare you professionally for the task, you will from December begin an educational program that qualifies you to lead Forældrepiloterne .
As part of the duties you will also have access to ongoing psychological professional supervision with a STIME-trained psychologist in the municipality.
We work where the families are With us, work does not primarily take place behind a desk. We meet the families where their daily life unfolds, and where the intervention provides the greatest value. Therefore your tasks may take place:
- In the family's own home, in family houses, at the town hall, at schools and in preschools.
You must therefore thrive in a varied workday with changing meeting places, and where you yourself are involved in planning and coordinating your work.
The position entails a high degree of independence.
Therefore we are seeking a colleague who
- Can work self-planned and create structure and overview in a complex daily life.
- Takes responsibility for their own tasks and processes and is flexible and solution-oriented.
- Thrives with a high degree of influence on the planning of their workday.
- At the same time sees the value in professional sparring and joint task solving.
We are looking for you, who
- Is educated as a pedagogue, teacher, social worker/social mediator, or has another relevant social science education, and has a relevant therapeutic continuing education.
- Has experience with children, youths and families and can collaborate across professional boundaries.
- Has strong relationship skills and is curious, reflective and development-oriented.
- Has a view of both resources and challenges.
- Can express yourself precisely both orally and in writing.
It would be advantageous if you have experience with network-inclusive and systemic working methods, but it is not a requirement.
Therefore you should choose us
- An workplace with high professional standards and a strong collegial community.
- A culture characterized by trust, responsibility and collaboration.
- A high degree of flexibility and influence on your own task planning.
- Opportunity to contribute to developing future early interventions for children and families.
- Focus on relational capacity, inclusive involvement and holistic solutions.
- Additionally we offer a free health scheme and a 4-day flexible workweek.
Løn- og ansættelsesvilkår As a rule, the salary is 41,890.13 per month + pension.
There will be an opportunity to negotiate the salary based on experience and competencies.
