About the job
Maybe you’re our new colleague! With us you become part of an engaged and professionally strong team, where we help each other, share our knowledge and together create the best solutions for children, youths and families.
The Entrance
In The Entrance we meet children, youths and families early when concerns about well-being, development or family life arise. We collaborate with families to find solutions that strengthen the child’s development opportunities and support the family’s sense of agency. The Entrance in the Children and Youth Department offers advice, guidance and support to children, youths and families who need help in a difficult situation.
In this team, incoming notifications are received and processed, but also § 30 cases from Team 0-8, Team 9-17 and the Special Team are processed here. If you have special knowledge about autism or ADHD, we see it as an advantage, as there will be tasks that call for knowledge about neurodivergence.
As a family therapist in this team, tasks include conversations with the child or young person, family conversations, crisis conversations, open counseling, etc. In The Entrance decisions are made quickly, and it is a great advantage that you have knowledge of municipal workflows. We have a fast pace and view our different professional backgrounds as a strength, drawing on each other’s competences.
We are child advisers, prevention advisers, family therapists and two team leaders in the same team. And with you in the team we will be 3 family therapists. In The Entrance we are creative and curious about each other’s ideas, and we help each other whenever we can with everything we can.
As a family therapist in The Entrance you will get
- Weekly meetings with the entire The Entrance Team, where we discuss and implement interventions.
- Great freedom to plan your concrete tasks yourself.
- Varied tasks – opportunities for advice and guidance tasks as well as family therapy tasks, psychoeducation, crisis pathways, group programs, etc.
- Colleagues with a high professional level who value and see the need for professional sparring and supervision. We have a culture where we reach out to each other, whether it is for sparring or a good idea.
- A daily life with tempo and variation.
- Possibility to become part of a professionally strong group where we continuously spar about our cases and draw on each other’s experiences. We work with a high degree of autonomy, but never stand alone when a case calls for joint reflection or new perspectives.
We would be delighted if you
- Have an educational background in pedagogy or another social welfare field with relevant postgraduate training or continuing education, preferably a psychotherapeutic education.
- Bring solid experience with family treatment and see yourself as a generalist
- Have experience working with complex cases where autism spectrum disorders or other psychiatric disorders are present in the family.
- Have experience with notifications and collaboration meetings
- Are patient and believe that change is possible.
- Want to challenge and inspire our practice with your reflections.
- Also see the value in a team where we have room for laughter and humor, but approach all tasks wholeheartedly and with commitment.
We make an effort with
- Putting the child/young person and the family at the center of our efforts.
- Ensuring a good, safe and development-oriented working environment.
- Keeping curiosity and creating room for creative ideas.
- Collaborating across professional boundaries, always with a resource-focused perspective.
