Description Arcadia eFuels is growing and is looking for a FEED/EPC Project Manager !

Primary location is Europe (to be determined depending on the EPC contractor selection)

Arcadia eFuels will produce eFuels (eDiesel and eSAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) using renewable electricity and water to make Green Hydrogen and combine it with captured carbon dioxide then gas to liquids processing to produce the final fuels.

Arcadia eFuels is an innovative scale-up dedicated to transforming the aviation and long-haul shipping industry through producing synthetic eFuels with a net zero carbon footprint. As a pre-revenue company, we are poised for rapid growth and expansion, with plans to establish manufacturing plants globally. At the development company level, we have successfully secured funding at the project entity level, our first project has received investor funding and a second project entity has received a government grant.

Job Overview

• Ideal candidate shall have at least 5-10 years' experience in a similar role, with an oil and gas background, preferably working with Tier 1 EPC contractors.
• Role will be in the EPC contractor office, so a constant daily interface is required.
• Experience in Gas plants, Refinery, and/or GTL (gas to liquid) plants is required.
• Candidate shall be able to manage a multidisciplinary team and interface himself with EPC contractor Project management.
• Naturally, the role will transition from FEED to EPC execution, with a relocation at the work site under Arcadia HR terms and conditions.
• Ability to take decisions under pressure and thinking out of the box will be a plus for this role.
• PM will report directly to Arcadia Vice President of Projects: interactions shall be frequent and open.
• PM shall be able to plan, select and “bring on board” his team resources independently supported by Arcadia HR function.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of Project detailed engineering phase up to plant construction and Initial Operation before handover to operation team
• Ensure each phase is on time, on budget, and within scope
• Interface with Contractor Project management, licensors and third parties as needed to deliver the project
• Interface with Arcadia support functions such as HR, Legal etc.
• Report Project progress to Arcadia Project management as per agreed standard
• Responsible for Team selection
• Execute the project within the boundaries set by Arcadia Project execution documents
• Assist on site considerations (provide all input for land requirements, balance of plant, etc)

Qualifications

• Must have chemical or mechanical engineering degree
• 10 years relevant experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Passionate for eFuels
• Detailed oriented
• Efficient working style, strong sense of urgency, and strong execution focus
