Filadelfia Epilepsy Hospital is seeking a clinical dietitian for the pediatric and adult areas. As Denmark's only specialized hospital for patients with epilepsy, we work purposefully to create safe, coherent and meaningful pathways for both patients and their families.

Who are you?

You are educated as a clinical dietitian and are motivated by a broader professional role than the traditional clinical work. You thrive being close to patients, see the family as a central partner and have a holistic view of the individual.

We imagine that you

• Thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and work closely with doctors, nurses, therapists, psychologists and secretaries
• Have an interest in epilepsy, neurology and neuro pediatrics
• Are ambitious and want to shape the field
• Are open to developing diet-based epilepsy treatment, including developing and testing new diet treatments
• Are structured and detail-oriented – diet calculation and individual plans are an important part of the job
• Have a positive approach and enjoy having many balls in the air

Your primary tasks will include

• Diet guidance and sparring regarding diet treatment for both adults and children and their families – especially ketogenic diet
• Preparation and calculation of individual diet plans
• Teaching and development of material for both patients and professionals
• Guidance in obesity and nutrition therapy

You don't need to be able to do everything from day one – of course we provide thorough training in the ketogenic diet. We expect you to have experience as a dietitian.

You join our keto team together with doctors, dietitians, nurses and occupational therapists. The team meets weekly and participates in cross-organizational conferences once a month.

Practical information

• Salary and employment according to applicable regional agreements with the Danish Association of Dieticians and Nutrition.

Starting salary

Filadelfia is committed to informing about the starting salary for the position. Stated are the base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in the relevant agreement.

The starting salary may vary depending on seniority, relevant experience and education.

In addition to the starting salary there may be

• Right to allowances under local pre-agreements.
• Right to special allowances, e.g., for evening, night and weekend work.
• Opportunity to negotiate individual allowances depending on the position as well as experience and qualifications.
• The position is 37 hours per week
• The work is distributed between the pediatric department, the outpatient clinic and the adult area
• We are closed on public holidays, between Christmas and New Year, during Easter, weeks 29-31, and the day after Ascension Day

About Filadelfia

Filadelfia operates Denmark's only highly specialized nationwide hospital for patients with epilepsy and offers specialized treatment of patients with acquired brain injury. The Epilepsy Hospital includes, in addition to the pediatric department, a neurological department for adult patients, neurophysiology, a department for neuropsychology and a department for epilepsy genetics and personalized medicine. Filadelfia also runs, in the social sector, specialized day and residential services on Zealand and in Jutland.

In a unique move, Filadelfia also runs the country’s only special school within epilepsy for children and young people. Filadelfia employs about 800 staff.
