Finance Bookkeeper for Scanvaegt Systems

And are you motivated by getting new digital workflows well embedded in day-to-day operations? We are seeking an experienced financial bookkeeper for Scanvaegt. You will become part of a finance department with short decision lines and great freedom to plan the tasks. There is room here for different personalities, but it is important that you actively contribute to the collaboration and communicate openly and constructively.

A broad role with main focus on accounts payable Your primary task will be accounts payable, but you must also be able to handle accounts receivable tasks and other central bookkeeping tasks. In the department, everyone has their own areas of responsibility, while being able to step in across as needed during busy periods, holidays and absence. Scanvaegt has subsidiaries in Norway and Germany, for which the finance department in Denmark handles administration. You will therefore also take responsibility for the accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks for the two subsidiaries.

Your tasks will include

• Accounts payable, including registration, posting and payment of invoices
• Accounts receivable and follow-up
• Reconciling and ongoing quality assurance
• Handling of invoices in relevant systems
• Contributing to monthly closing and other financial tasks
• Sparring and coordination with colleagues and internal partners
• Participation in development and optimization of workflows

You report to the company’s Chief Accountant, who has overall responsibility for the daily operation of the finance department.

New systems and digital opportunities Scanvaegt is in the process of implementing Business Central 365 after previously working in Navision. When you start, the system will therefore be in the initial operating phase, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to new workflows being well anchored in daily practice.

Experience with Business Central is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important is that you have a good system understanding, work in a structured manner and are curious about how technology can support an efficient finance function.

AI is expected to play a larger role in tasks and processes in the finance department in the future. You do not need to be an expert, but you should be willing to learn and be open to new digital solutions.

Who are you? We imagine that you have experience as a finance bookkeeper or from a similar position. You have solid knowledge of accounts payable and preferably experience with the receivables area.

You thrive in a small department where you must keep an overview, take responsibility and solve different types of tasks. As a person, you stand firmly on your feet and can operate in an environment with direct communication and different personalities. You are approachable and constructive but also dare to ask questions and point out issues that should be handled differently.

Scanvaegt offers You will get a versatile role in an established company with an annual turnover of around DKK 500 million. The position is 37 hours per week, generally within the hours 8:00–16:00, with the possibility for flexibility. There is also the option to work from home up to two days a week. In addition, Scanvaegt offers pension scheme, flexitime, meal scheme, massage, fruit, and an annual pass to Tivoli Friheden.

The company plans to renovate the office facilities.

Salary is determined by qualifications.
