About the job

As Financial Controller you will play a key role in the building and further development of the company’s finance function. You will be responsible for creating efficient processes and contributing to the transition from manual workflows to a more data-driven and system-supported financial management. At the same time you will have a central role in the implementation and use of the company’s new Dynamics 365 ERP system.

You will, among other things, work with

• Daily financial and accounting operations
• Debtor and creditor management
• Bank reconciliations and payments
• VAT reporting and payroll administration
• Monthly closings and reporting
• Budgets, forecasts and analyses
• Contact with auditors and coordination of year-end closing
• Inventory-related processes and procurement administration
• Support of sales and service orders as needed
• Optimization and digitization of finance processes

In the role you work closely with the CEO, whom you will also report directly to.

About you

You are an experienced accounting or finance professional who thrives on both operations and development. You are motivated by creating structure, improving processes and actively contributing to the company’s continued development. At the same time you are not afraid to tackle the daily tasks that keep the finance function running effectively.

You work systematically and have a natural eye for detail, but also the ability to see the larger business context. You have a strong financial toolkit and experience with accounting, reporting and financial management, and you are used to using ERP systems and digital tools as an integrated part of your work.

As a person you take responsibility for your tasks and see them through to the end. You are naturally curious and see opportunities for improvements where others see challenges. At the same time you are a relationship-building colleague who collaborates well across the organization and builds trust with both internal and external partners.

You thrive in a smaller organization where flexibility and engagement are a natural part of everyday life, and where you have the opportunity to make a visible difference. Additionally, you are fluent in Danish and English in both written and spoken form.
