Technician / production worker sought for Esbelt ApS in Odense

We are looking for a technician / production worker for our team in Odense, where you will work with production and assembly of conveyor belts.

With us you will be part of an experienced team that each day produces conveyor belts according to customers' individual needs and performs installation and service at customers across Denmark.

Esbelt ApS is part of the Spanish group Esbelt Sau., which has production facilities and distributors worldwide. In Denmark we offer 24/7 service so our customers can get help with urgent production stops – both day and night.

About the job

You will have a varied daily life, where you work both independently and with your colleagues.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Production of conveyor belts at our workshop in Odense
• Installation and service/repair at customers across Denmark
• Urgent service tasks in case of production stoppage
• Other practical tasks in production and in the workshop

Installation tasks at our customers can arise with short notice , and therefore it is important that you are flexible and prepared for work outside normal working hours .

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Have good hands-on skills and technical/practical understanding
• Have experience from industry, production, assembly or similar e.g. Blacksmith, mechanic, plumber, carpenter or other in that direction
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Maintain an overview – even when things move fast
• Are quick to learn and want to learn new areas
• Are flexible and adaptable, as well as service-minded and have an understanding of high service
• Are reliable and loyal and ready to lend a hand when needed
• Contributes positively to the team and collaboration with your colleagues

It is an advantage if you have epoxy certificate – otherwise we will ensure you get it.

You must have

• Truck certificate
• Regular driving license (category B)
• Ability to speak, read and understand Danish and to communicate in English
• Possibility to present a criminal record

Working hours

The position is for 37 hours per week .

Monday–Thursday: 07:00–15:30

Friday: 07:00–12:00

As Esbelt offers 24/7 service, work outside normal working hours should be expected , including for urgent customer tasks.
