We are now seeking a Fleet Planner

for our growing IC5 organization in Copenhagen.

We offer a permanent full-time position in an organization that helps shape the future of railway operations in Denmark.

Your role – where planning meets operations

As Fleet Planner you will have a central role in ensuring that the train fleet is available, maintained and ready to operate when the customer needs it.

You work closely with the depot, DSB, Engineering, Fleet Control and other internal stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient use of resources.

The position is a unique opportunity to help build a new planning function from the ground up. You will therefore have great influence on processes, workflows and the way the team works moving forward.

In short: You ensure that plans become reality.

Your responsibilities

You will, among other things

• Plan and coordinate daily activities for the fleet and depot
• Ensure balance between operational needs, maintenance and depot capacity
• Monitor the fleet's availability and performance
• Adjust plans in case of operational disruptions, faults or changed priorities
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, EHS and the customer’s organization
• Ensure efficient resource use at the depot
• Contribute to continuous improvements of planning processes
• Work towards targets in quality, delivery and efficiency

Who are you?

You have

• Experience with planning within operations, maintenance, production or similar areas
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills
• Experience in handling many stakeholders simultaneously
• An analytical and data-based approach to problem solving
• Good IT skills, preferably within Excel and planning systems
• Good communication skills in both Danish and English

It is advantageous if you have

• Experience from railway, transport or maintenance industry
• Experience with SAP or similar systems
• Experience with asset management or fleet planning
• Knowledge of quality and safety processes

Practical information

• Work location: Copenhagen
• Permanent full-time position
• Hybrid work possible after onboarding period (up to 2 days of remote work per week)
• Shift work may be included in the future, including evening or night shifts, depending on operations
