The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's Meat Inspection seeks an inspection technician for a poultry slaughterhouse (Rose Poultry).

About the position

As an inspection technician, your primary task will be post-checks on the line, but it is also expected that you participate in sampling, welfare control and other administrative tasks. You will become part of a professional team consisting of 3 veterinarians, 6 inspection technicians and 1 section leader.

Your tasks will therefore include the following

• Meat control.
• Inspection tasks and sampling.
• Diverse administrative tasks.
• The expectation is that you keep up with email and intranet to stay updated.
• The expectation is that you follow up on e-learning so your professional knowledge is current.
• You should read and follow internal instructions and guidelines, which are determined by the manager and agreed with colleagues.
• You should participate in internal meetings. These can be physical meetings and online meetings.

About you

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are educated as an inspection technician in white meat, and it can be an advantage if you are also educated in red meat.

Furthermore, we expect that

• You are professionally interested and meticulous about your work.
• You have good collaboration skills, are proactive and flexible and work well in a group.
• You are aware of your competencies and ask for advice when you are in doubt.
• You are helpful and see the inspection task as a collaboration.
• You are prepared for ongoing changes in rules and procedures in your work.

• You have a driver's license for a passenger car.

About the company

• Rose Poultry, Tværmodevej 10, 7830 Vinderup, is a poultry slaughterhouse.

Working hours are, as a rule, two-shift periods in the time frame: 20:00 – 04:00 and 04:00 – 12:00, Monday to Friday.

The practical

The position is full-time, but part-time may also be a possibility.

Salary and terms of employment

Remuneration and other terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable Organizational Agreement for inspection officers at export-authorized slaughterhouses etc.

The primary work location will be Tværmodevej 10, 7830 Vinderup.

Start date is 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible after further agreement.
