Full-time housing support sought for Rebild Municipality

2 employees at 37 hours sought for our residential support team with employment from 1 December 2026

One of our wonderful colleagues is retiring after many years while we take on more tasks. Therefore we are seeking two new employees for our residential support team that provides residential support according to SEL's §85; either in the citizen's own home or as group housing in the town with a colleague.

We are in ongoing dialogue about whether our offering matches the target group and whether our organization is optimal. You will be self-organizing, but must be prepared for varied and flexible working hours on weekdays.

The target group is citizens with reduced physical or mental functioning or special social problems. e.g. mentally ill, substance users, people with ADHD, autism, brain injury etc.

The offering is organized under The social offers in the Center for Family and Disability in Rebild Municipality and since we place great value on multidisciplinary approaches our residential support team consists of social- and health-care assistants, occupational therapists, pedagogical assistant and pedagogues.

We work recovery-oriented and in the residential support area it is based on individual pedagogical action plans made together with the citizen. They are to help ensure that the citizen develops/maintains the competencies necessary to live as independently as possible

The primary tasks will be

• to help ensure learning of the skills necessary to live alone; cooking, shopping, laundry, finances, personal hygiene etc.
• to support self-determination
• to support and train the citizen's social skills
• to support and train the citizen to use leisure time in a good way and to participate in activities outside the home
• to draw up pedagogical sub-goals together with the citizen and to continuously follow up on these
• to contribute to the development of new methods and implementation
• to document your efforts in Nexus
• to collaborate with the network; relatives as well as professionals

We expect that you

• are educated as pedagog or have other relevant education
• have experience in working with the target group
• have good cooperation skills and can see the necessity of cross-organizational collaboration
• are flexible and creative in thought and action
• can work independently but also engage in professional, binding partnerships
• have the desire and courage to help develop the area
• take shared responsibility for the use of the cars the department has
