Furesø Municipality seeks green employees

Then you may be the person we are looking for in the Gardening Department.

Our primary task is to maintain the municipality's green areas, but we also work purposefully with biodiversity, nature care and beautification of both urban spaces and natural areas.

We are looking for employees who can broaden their perspective and see the possibilities in daily work. You notice the small improvements that can create value for both citizens and nature, and you actively contribute to finding good solutions in collaboration with your colleagues.

About us

The Gardening Department consists of 25 employees distributed across four semi-autonomous teams, each responsible for a geographical area in the municipality.

We maintain and develop the municipality's green areas, including

• Parks and urban spaces
• Road areas
• Institutions
• Natural areas

Collaboration is an important part of our daily life. Therefore we are happy to help each other across teams when there is a need for extra hands or professional sparring.

We expect that you

• Have an interest in the operation and development of green areas
• Can work independently while also being part of a close team collaboration
• Are solution-oriented and see opportunities rather than limitations
• Have a driving license (required)
• Can join winter readiness and report no later than 45 minutes after a call-out

Working hours are

• Monday to Thursday: 07.00-15.30
• Friday: 07.00-12.00

There is a smoke-free working time policy in Furesø Municipality, and smoking is therefore not allowed during working hours.
