About the job
Are you a physiotherapist – and are you motivated by a daily life with variation, pace and meaningful work with children and adolescents?
Would you like to be part of PPR Aalborg, where we focus on the child community and the individual child's well-being, development and learning? Then you may be the person we are looking for!
PPR Aalborg is seeking a physiotherapist for a permanent position in the training and rehabilitation area for 32 hours per week as of December 1, 2026.
We are looking for a physiotherapist for PPR’s Ergo- and Physiotherapy Team, which handles examination, training and rehabilitation primarily aimed at the child/adolescent group 6-18 years. You will become part of a work community where both mono-disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration are highly valued. We are organized in a team consisting of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, but also have interdisciplinary collaboration with other professions within PPR.
We attach great importance to mono- and two- profession collaboration in the occupational therapy and physiotherapy group, which comprises a total of 26 physiotherapists and 23 occupational therapists.
We handle examination/diagnosis, preventive or maintenance training as well as rehabilitation. A large part of the work involves guiding the adults around the child. We primarily work in PPR’s training rooms, but we also have the opportunity to offer guidance, training and rehabilitation in the child’s home or local environment if needed. We have a close collaboration with our occupational therapy and physiotherapy colleagues as well as other professionals in PPR, who solve tasks related to the children’s schooling.
We offer
- A dedicated colleague team with hearts that beat for the children
- An informal tone of voice
- An exciting position in development with diverse tasks including examination/diagnosis, observation, treatment, training, guidance and sparring

About you
- You are trained as a physiotherapist and have experience within the child/adolescent field 6-18 years
- You have knowledge of and experience with physiotherapeutic examination of children
- You have knowledge of and experience with motor development and sensory processing in children
- You have experience with or a desire to work with children and young people in distress and with children with psychiatric diagnoses, complex issues and multiple diagnoses.
- You have knowledge of and experience with orthopedic surgical issues and sports injuries; ideally with rehabilitation of knee injuries such as ACL rupture and meniscal injuries.
- You have the ability to build and create good and professional collaborative relationships
- You have a holistic approach to the intervention around children and young people and take all aspects of their lives into account.
- You are independent, proactive and development-oriented
- You work in a structured manner and are able to plan your own time, coordinate with the many collaborators and prioritize tasks
- You have experience of collaborating with parents and professionals around the children
- You are flexible and adaptable
- You are a good communicator
