The position is a permanent appointment as of December 1, 2026, at 37 hours per week.
We see that you

Dine opgaver You will primarily handle short, structured and documented patient pathways with a focus on assessing the patient’s functional ability as well as the need for rehabilitation and retraining.
Together with the patient you plan the further course through examination, assessment, instruction, provision of relevant assistive devices and guidance in exercises. The goal is to support the patient’s active and independent participation during hospitalization, and to create good transitions to discharge as well as further retraining and rehabilitation in the municipality.
The position includes weekend shifts after the introductory period. There are typically shifts about every 8th weekend and some holidays. During shifts we cover the entire hospital, and therefore the onboarding process also includes an introduction to other specialties than the one you are employed in.
We place great emphasis on ensuring you feel well prepared for the tasks. You will therefore receive a thorough onboarding program, a mentor and time for learning, so you can feel secure in the role.
Who are we?
In the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy department we have a strong focus on the active patient pathway at the emergency hospital. We work purposefully to develop our practice and support patients’ activity and participation during hospitalization. The department also has a clinical development unit, which contributes to professional development and implementation of new knowledge.
We work closely with the hospital’s other departments and are focused on creating coherent and high-quality patient pathways. At the same time we preserve a working environment characterized by professionalism, engagement, openness, feedback and good humor.
In the campus in Køge we have 10 occupational therapists, 22 physiotherapists, 1 chief therapist, 1 secretary and 1 assistive device manager. We also have a clinical instructor and are affiliated with physiotherapy students from Professionshøjskolen Absalon, as well as development therapists linked to the department.
You will be employed by Zealand University Hospital, which includes the hospitals in Køge, Roskilde and Nykøbing Falster. In January 2028 our colleagues from Roskilde will move to the new university hospital in Køge, where we will continue the development of future patient pathways together.
