Gardener / cultivation assistant sought for Valeos Pharma

Do you have experience with plant cultivation and a good eye for plant health? At Valeos Pharma we are seeking an engaged colleague for our cultivation team in Holeby on Lolland.

You are ideally educated as a gardener or have other relevant experience with professional plant cultivation, for example from a garden center or greenhouse production. The most important is that you understand plants' needs and thrive with the daily work of creating healthy plants and consistent quality.

About the job

You will be part of our production of medical cannabis and work closely with our Head Grower and the rest of the team. You follow the plants from cuttings to harvest and contribute your expertise to the daily care and development of the cultivation. The working language is English, and all documentation is in English.

Your tasks include, among others

• Cuttings production, transplanting and care of plants through all growth stages.
• Daily plant care and pruning.
• Monitoring watering, nutrition and growth conditions.
• Observation of plant health and early identification of pests, diseases and nutrient problems.
• Harvest as well as cleaning and preparation of cultivation areas.
• Registration of cultivation activities according to our procedures.

• Have knowledge of plant health, growth, nutrition and climate.
• Are attentive to changes in the plants' well-being and follow up when something requires action.
• Thrive with practical and sometimes physical work.
• Work carefully, take responsibility and be a good colleague.
• Are prepared to follow fixed procedures for quality, hygiene and documentation.
• Can read and understand English instructions and procedures and document your work in English, which is an important part of working in pharmaceutical production.

You do not need to have experience with cannabis. We provide training in the culture, our cultivation methods and the quality requirements applicable to medical production.

Valeos Pharma A/S is a Danish producer of medical cannabis with facilities in Holeby on Lolland. We work with cultivation according to GACP and further processing under EU-GMP and supply to Danish and international markets.
