General Manager for Beni Burger in Carlsbergbyen

Beni is a new burger bar in Carlsberg Byen, created in collaboration between Norrlyst Koncernen and Casper Drømme . We are incredibly busy and therefore seek a skilled and engaged general manager who wants to be a central part of the daily operation and development of Beni.

As the general manager, you will be the one to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly – both in front of guests and behind the scenes. You will have a close collaboration with the team and management and will be responsible for the daily operation of Front of House.

YOUR MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Daily operations – ensure the restaurant functions optimally from opening to closing.
• Staff planning – preparation of shift schedules, coordination of employees and ensuring the right crew on the floor.
• Stock management – keep track of inventory, consumption and ordering of goods, so we are always ready for service.
• Floor management – be visible and present on the floor, lead the team during service and ensure a great guest experience.

The position is a combination of administrative tasks and hands-on operation in the restaurant . You will thus need to thrive both in front of the computer with planning and coordination and on the floor, where the pace is high and decisions must be made quickly.

WE EXPECT THAT YOU

Have experience from a similar role in the restaurant industry – preferably from a concept with high pace, many guests and a focus on both quality and efficient operation.

You are structured and can keep an overview when it is busy. You take responsibility, lead from the front and have natural authority without being afraid to roll up your sleeves when it’s time to push on the floor.

You have a sense for guests, colleagues and operations and understand that a great restaurant experience is created by a strong team, clear leadership and good commercial sense.
