General Manager for the Health and Care Places at Lynggården

Do you want to help shape the future of the health care system? We are seeking, as of 01.12.26, an engaged leader who can spearhead the continued development of the Health and Care Places in an exciting time with new opportunities, strong professional ambitions and close cross-sector collaboration.

In connection with the Health Reform, the operation of the Health and Care Places will transfer to the North Jutland Region on 1 January 2027. We therefore seek an engaged and visionary daily leader who can lead the continued development of the offering and ensure strong professional and operational leadership during a period of many changes.

The Health and Care Places will be established at Lynggården in Hirtshals. The Health and Care Places rest on a strong foundation that for many years has been run and developed with high professionalism and a careful hand. With the move to regional administration, we have the opportunity to build on the good experiences and at the same time strengthen collaboration across sectors for the benefit of the citizens.

The new organization should contribute to even more coherent patient and citizen pathways in Vendsyssel, where transitions between hospital, Health and Care Places, municipal offerings and one’s own home should feel more coordinated and tangible. As daily leader you will play a central role in translating this ambition into practice, so the position is a unique opportunity for you who are motivated by development, collaboration and the building of the future close health system.

About the job

The Health and Care Places are an important offering to citizens with complex health and care needs, where rehabilitation, treatment, care and collaboration go hand in hand. We are seeking an engaged and development-oriented daily leader who can lead the continued development of the offering and create the best framework for citizens, relatives and employees.

As daily leader you will have overall responsibility for daily operations, staff management and professional development at Lynggården. You will become the leader of a dedicated group of employees with various professional backgrounds.

You will report to Chief Nurse Katrine Porsborg Larsen, and she says the following about her leadership style and the collaboration you will have: "My leadership is based on high ambitions, integrity and the courage to set a clear direction. About the health and care places

The target group for the Health and Care Places is citizens with a need for a health care intervention who do not require hospital admission, but where the intervention cannot be appropriately arranged in their own home.

At the Health and Care Places, among other things, the following are managed

• Rehabilitation and reconditioning
• Observation and nursing assessment
• Treatment and care
• Nutritional interventions

Common to the interventions is a rehabilitative focus, where the citizen’s resources and possibilities to regain function are central.
