About the job
Do you have a razor-sharp pen, an eye for detail and an analytical mindset? Are you good at understanding complex problems and communicating them simply and precisely? And do you dream of taking a central role in projects that make a difference to society? We are currently seeking an AC-generalist in the Development and Simplification Agency, who will help drive the implementation of new and exciting IT projects.
The future is digital
At the Development and Simplification Agency under the Ministry of Taxation and Growth, we work to establish the future digital Tax Administration. In close collaboration with the other agencies, we develop and simplify the IT solutions and business processes that support the Tax Administration and create the foundation for financing the public sector – for the benefit of society as a whole.
Office Corporate Systems, where we now welcome a new colleague, works in particular with operation, maintenance, development and further development of IT systems to support corporate and withholding tax.
Be part of building the tax authority of the future
The first project you as an AC-generalist will work on with us concerns the implementation of two new green taxes in connection with the Agreement on a Green Denmark – and after that other exciting projects await. You will play a central role in the project team, and your daily work will include, among other things:
- Close coordination with the project manager on the preparation of, among other things, steering group materials, notes, and financial management.
- Drive approval processes and coordinate input across agencies.
- Carry out analyses and clarifications in connection with needs assessment and propose solution options in close collaboration with colleagues.
- Communication and facilitation of collaboration and workshops, both internally and externally.
Your closest collaborators will be your project team with participants from both the Development and Simplification Agency and the Tax Agency. In addition, you will have a wide collaboration with, among others, system owners, process owners and suppliers.
Who are you?
We imagine that you have a relevant social science master's degree and have worked with IT for at least a couple of years. In addition, you may have experience from other projects and from politically governed organizations – or you have the drive needed to start building these experiences. The most important for us is that you have a positive mindset and are ready to take on the task with resolve.
Since these are complex projects at a high professional level with strong managerial attention, we also value that you are structuring and good at creating an overview. In addition, we are looking for the following qualifications:
- You are communicative and facilitative, have good written and spoken communication skills and deliver high-quality written products
- You are generally good at understanding IT systems and have a knack for getting into IT-related topics so you can speak when specific technical topics are discussed
- You enjoy collaborating in a broad professional environment and can navigate a large, complex, politically governed organization with many stakeholders
- You are proactive, action-oriented and persistent – also when the task is difficult
…And what can we offer you?
You will have 20 dedicated colleagues in the office, where we work flexibly in a team structure. We prioritize the quality of the tasks highly and believe that we create the greatest value when we are also thriving. We therefore have an informal atmosphere, and we are happy with both our internal team spirit and the broad, strong collaboration we have with other offices, agencies and external stakeholders. In addition, we respect that everyday life must hang together, and offer flexibility to balance it all.
Professionally, you will join an organization where you work with large and complex systems that must not only function but also be developed while they run. This requires a high degree of professionalism and dedication. Here there is, however, room for ambition and career development. If you want to work with complex problems and have the drive the task requires, this can be just the right position for you!
