Denmark stands at the centre of a historic green transition. At the Agency for Green Land Reallocation and Water Environment, we work purposefully to improve climate, nature and the water environment – among other things through the drainage of low-lying farmland and the establishment of forests and wetlands. As our new professional profile in the Nature Subsidies unit in Tønder, you will be a central player in administering the subsidy schemes that make green projects possible for farmers, municipalities and companies.

Your main tasks

As part of our unit you will among other things be required to

• Bridge-building: You help translate political ambitions into solutions that work in practice, and participate in professional and cross-functional collaborations with colleagues in Tønder, Copenhagen and Odense
• Professional support and sparring partner: You provide qualified support to case handlers in complex and professional clarifications etc.
• Advising and communicating: Support the administrative basis in the form of case handler instructions, training, contribute to development and knowledge sharing in the team.
• Optimize and simplify: You contribute to simplification and optimization in the interplay between rules, practice and IT support, taking into account the purpose of the subsidy schemes. You may also be the one who drives concrete improvement measures and projects.
• Support management: prepare memos, decision proposals, contribute to general management support.

Your profile: Specialist with a focus on forests and biodiversity

We are looking for a forestry and landscape engineer or someone with a similar natural science background. You thrive at the intersection of professionalism, authorities and practical implementation

Employment terms

You will be employed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for forest and landscape engineers in the state or another relevant agreement depending on your educational background. Depending on experience and competences there is the possibility to negotiate supplementary pay based on qualifications.

The employment area is the Ministry of Nature and Animal Welfare with its related institutions and the workplace is the Agency for Green Land Reallocation and Water Environment, Pioner Allé 9, 6270 Tønder.

This is a full-time position, to be filled no later than 1 January 2027.
