About the job

Any construction project rests on solid geotechnical investigations, and in SYSTRAs geotechnical group we deliver the advice that forms the basis for major infrastructure projects. The group is growing, and we are therefore looking for another geotechnician for our office in Ørestad. Right now we are working on the Næstved motorway, Route 15, Metro M5 and a new bridge over Tuborgvej. In addition, we have many different tasks for both private and public clients.

As a geotechnician in the Geotechnics & Ports department, you will contribute to the execution and coordination of soil investigations, preparation of investigation reports and design, and ensure technical quality in the deliverables. You will also work with geotechnical data processing and documentation.

Context

In Geotechnics & Ports we are about 15 employees with a broad distribution of competencies and seniority, ranging from 1 to 30+ years of experience. We design all kinds of geotechnical structures, prepare geotechnical investigation reports, and provide advice in all phases of foundation of bridge, port and infrastructure constructions for both new construction, renovation and modification.

Missions/Main Duties

At SYSTRA you get an exciting and challenging job where you will play an important role in some of our society-critical projects. You will spend your daily life in the Ørestad office, where you will meet engaged and friendly colleagues with a high professional level. The good working environment is characterized by a high degree of flexibility with the possibility to work from home. We have a personnel policy that supports your career and development, and we offer attractive salary and employment conditions.

Profile/Skills

We imagine that you are educated as a diploma engineer or civil engineer in geotechnics or the like, and that you have a minimum of 4 years of experience with geotechnical investigations and reporting. You have experience with soil investigations and preparation of investigation reports for road and rail projects, and you work in a structured and quality-conscious manner in your deliverables.

It is also a requirement that you master Danish both orally and in writing. Experience with OpenGround and GeoGIS is also a prerequisite for the position.

If you want to know more about the job, you are welcome to contact Department Manager Evelina Vaitkune at tel.: +45 5251 9873.

To apply for the position, you simply need to send your CV, after which we will respond with follow-up questions. We review applications on an ongoing basis, so feel free to apply now.
