Since one of our talented social- and health care assistants is retiring, we are right now looking for a professionally strong social- and health care assistant for an evening shift in our lovely house.

A bit about the care home

Huset Dorthe is a self-governing care home in Rødovre, which consists of six departments spread over three floors with in total 90 residents.

We are looking for a skilled social- and health care assistant for a well-functioning evening shift team who can help ensure that residents receive the best possible care and nursing every day.

Everyday life at Huset Dorthe is based on the principle that all residents, after an individual assessment and expectation alignment, are offered support and care in accordance with their wishes and needs, and that the help they receive is delivered with respect, empathy and professionalism.

About the job

At Huset Dorthe we work with citizens who need presence and structure in daily life. Several of our residents have cognitive challenges, which means that you as our evening shift must have good pedagogical skills.

We therefore focus on

• Safety and relation-building
• Low arousal and a de-escalating approach
• Professional reflection and development

The position is organized as

• Fixed evening shift 5/2
• We start at 15:00 – 23:00
• Long week in odd weeks with shifts every Wednesday and Thursday

In 2027 you will have a long week in even weeks with shifts every Wednesday and Thursday.
