As Governance & Project Manager you will have a central role in strengthening governance, compliance and processes in the business area, while you drive projects and contribute to the development of the Credit area.

About the position

As Governance & Project Manager in the commercial area you help ensure that we have control of processes, documentation and the overall governance in the Credit area. You create an overview, ensure forward momentum and contribute to turning new requirements and expectations into simple, value-creating workflows.

You will have an important role in collaborating with managers, specialists and other key people across the bank, where you help create a coherent link between regulatory requirements, the business needs and daily operations.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• Ensure and further develop governance, processes and procedures in the Credit area
• Coordinate and follow up on audits, internal controls and dialogue with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority
• Translate regulatory requirements and new legislation into concrete solutions and workflows
• Analyze, report and follow up on risks and other governance-related initiatives
• Drive and coordinate projects with a focus on governance, compliance and process improvements
• Create structure, forward momentum and coherence across stakeholders and business areas

You will have great opportunity to influence the role and leave your mark on both processes, ways of collaboration and the development of the area. At the same time you will be part of a close collaboration with governance-responsible and other key persons across the bank to ensure a consistent approach.

You should be willing to work in Aabenraa for a large part of the time, but since we are also located in Birk (Herning), Aarhus and Copenhagen, it is important that you are flexible and prepared to be present across our locations.

About you

We imagine you are a structured and proactive person who is motivated by creating overview and ensuring forward momentum in complex tasks. You thrive working across the organization and are able to translate analyses, requirements and problems into concrete actions and solutions.

You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks and see them through. At the same time you are curious, collaborative and good at building relationships across different disciplines and organizational levels.

In addition, we would like you to

• Be analytical and able to create structure and overview in complex issues
• Can drive processes and projects from idea to implementation
• Communicate clearly and make complex requirements understandable and usable
• Create strong collaboration relationships and navigate naturally across the organization
• Have understanding of credit, risk management and governance – or a desire to quickly build it
• Be curious about digitalization and see opportunities in new tools such as Microsoft 365 and AI

It is an advantage if you have experience from banking, finance or another regulated industry, but the most important is your willingness to take responsibility, create structure and contribute to strong results across the Credit area.
