At Mittarfik Nerlerit Inaat we are seeking a skilled truck or construction machinery mechanic for a permanent position at one of Greenland's most unique workplaces.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of the airport's equipment, including

• Mercedes flatbed truck
• Snow removal machines of various manufacturers
• Construction machines
• Forklift
• Power plant (Volvo D9)
• Firefighting vehicles

In addition

• Participation in fire and sea rescue readiness
• Participation in the airport's security team
• Ad hoc tasks in other departments as needed

We are looking for someone who

• Is trained as a truck mechanic or has equivalent relevant background
• Has a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the industry
• Has experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
• Works independently and takes responsibility for your tasks
• Is reliable and comes to work well prepared
• Has good discipline and a focus on quality
• Holds a driver's license for both car and truck

Terms of employment

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Greenland Self-Government and the relevant trade union. Salary and other terms are set according to qualifications and experience.
