We have expanded in the Esrum department, and we are therefore seeking teachers, pedagogues and possibly assistants for our full-day school offering. We are really making good progress in Esrum and therefore need even more skilled people to help develop our special school so that we can together create academic and social learning communities for our students.
Would you like to be part of this professional, versatile and exciting task, and are you mature, flexible and creative as a person, then we would love to hear from you.

- the target group is characterized by having an IQ within the normal range as well as complex needs. It can manifest as difficulties in meeting and honoring age-appropriate demands and expectations in everyday life, challenges with emotional regulation, social-cognitive difficulties, executive function difficulties, academically low self-esteem and defeatist behavior

- teachers, pedagogues and pedagogue assistants work closely together, and we share in teaching and activities. We have team meetings together, where we brainstorm with each other, and where we coordinate concrete didactic measures, distribute practical tasks and discuss the overall educational direction for the group and for the individual child.

The most important for us is that you have a modern view of children and can look beyond the behavior and that you appear mature, calm and with good humor. An extra plus is if you can manage to involve, for example, music, nature, creativity, craft, handiwork, play and physical movement in your interaction with the students
- we need teachers who can plan differentiated teaching and plan individual teaching plans. That you can involve and collaborate with your team to plan teaching based on the applicable curriculum
We need both teachers and pedagogues
- have an interest in – and preferably experience with – special education strategies
- want to work creatively, flexibly and developmentally
- understand that learning can look different, and you find positive energy and academically meaningful content in involving music, nature, creativity, play, craft, handiwork and physical movement in your interaction with children
- can plan a school day with a focus on the students' zone of proximal development
- meet the students with patience, clarity and humor
- believe that all children do their best according to their abilities
- can see beyond behavior and offer a calm nervous system – even when emotions run high
- create security and meet children and parents with curiosity and respect
- take professional responsibility for collaboration with students, families and colleagues.
