Guest day care provider outside of their own home (flyer)

The day care in Aabenraa Municipality is seeking as of January 1, 2027 a guest day care provider outside your own home – also called a fly per diem in a fixed-term position of 1 year with the possibility of extension.

About the job

The fly's main work consists of taking care of the guest care, which will take place in the day care centers' playrooms around the entire Aabenraa Municipality. This means that you will be able to receive up to 5 children from other municipal day cares during holidays, days off, and possibly illness.

You will in periods, where you do not have guest children, take care of the day care’s warehouse in Tinglev in relation to keeping the depot organized, unpacking goods, packing day care supplies for new day care providers and the delivery of these. In addition, you will also be extra hands and able to support your colleagues.

You will become part of our fly team with a total of 4 fly providers.

As a fly you are employed with 37.00 hours per week, but since you take care of guest care for the municipal day cares, your working hours may be more than 37.00 hours per week, however may not exceed 41.00 hours per week. Overtime must be compensated with time off.

The daily working hours are in the time frame 06:00 – 18:00. Your work week will consist of 4 days, and be part of a rotation with the other fly providers. It is a 3-week rotation, and your days off will be known in advance.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable agreement with FOA.

As a fly you are connected to a day care consultant who serves as mentor and sparring partner in daily work.

You are employed with 37.00 hours per week, but since you take care of guest care for the municipal day cares, your working hours may be more than 37.00 hours per week, but may not exceed 41.00 hours per week. Overtime must be compensated with time off.

It is a condition for the job that you have a driver's license. You will receive travel allowance according to the applicable rules.
