About the job

Do you want to combine practical operations with responsibility – and become an important part of a sports center in development?

Snedsted Hallen is a workplace where days are rarely the same, and where we every day strive to give our guests a good experience – and at the same time we have great flexibility.

At Snedsted Hallen we are looking for a hall assistant who wants to become an important part of everyday life in facilities that daily form the framework for sport, community and lots of meetings between people.

With us, working hours follow the level of activity. Therefore we work according to an annual norm. This typically means that the winter season offers many activities and events, while in the summer period there is typically more freedom and time off.

We are looking for a colleague who thrives with an active workday, takes responsibility and wants both to be part of the daily operation and to serve as a sounding board for the hall's continued development, as well as become an important part of the positive work community that characterizes Snedsted Hallen.

Your tasks

Most of your working time takes place out in the facilities, where you, together with your colleagues, ensure that users encounter inviting and well-functioning surroundings. A significant part of the work will also take place in the swimming hall as lifeguard and possibly instructor.

Your tasks will include

  • Practical operating and maintenance tasks
  • Lifeguarding (training can be taken after employment) and possibly swimming instruction
  • Preparation and cleaning of facilities
  • Customer service: telephone, fitness center, café, etc.
  • Setting up and taking down for activities, matches and events
  • Service and contact with users, associations and partners
  • Practical tasks related to events, courses and events.

As a hall assistant you can also take an important role as the center manager's deputy. When the center manager is not present, you can help coordinate the day's tasks, prioritize the workload and ensure the daily operations run smoothly.

We imagine that you

  • Thrive in an active workday and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Take responsibility, be reliable and follow tasks through to the end
  • Can maintain an overview when many things happen at once
  • Have practical hands and perhaps a trades qualification
  • Are a team player who contributes positively to the community and helps where needed
  • Are service-minded and willing to go the extra mile to create good experiences for our guests
  • Have basic IT skills

The most important is that you are willing to take responsibility, take action, contribute to the community and help make everyday life function.

We offer

  • A versatile position with great variation in tasks
  • Possibility to combine practical work with sparring and development
  • A good collegial community with humor and an informal tone
  • A workplace with many different users, activities and experiences
  • A daily life with many small meetings with and smiles from the center's users

Working hours

The position is on average 25 - 30 hours per week and follows an annual norm. In your application please indicate the number of hours you would prefer.

You participate in a duty rota with work every 3rd weekend and a fixed weekday evening. In periods with many activities and events there may be extra shifts, planned in close dialogue with the rest of the team.

Practical information

Workplace is Snedsted Hallen, Øster Alle 10, 7752 Snedsted

Start date: 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Conditions of employment
