Disability support worker wanted for a woman on Funen

I am a woman with a passion for creativity and cooking, who is seeking disability caregivers who can join my team of wonderful helpers. The position is 24 to 30 hours on average per week with start mid-August.

The job is located in a station town between Middelfart and Odense, within walking distance from the station to the job.

Shifts are 12-hour shifts and occur in the time windows 9:00–21:00 and 21:00–9:00. Shorter and longer shifts may also occur. You must be able to work both day and night. In addition to weekdays you will work every third weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) in a 6-week cycle.

A little about me

I am 41 years old and use an electric wheelchair. I have, among other things, severe sensory and motor polyneuropathy in the feet, legs, arms and hands. The autonomic nervous system is also affected. In addition I have reduced vision and am multioverly sensitive to, among other things, food, dust, smoke and perfume.

Many hours are spent in my kitchen as I am finishing my own cookbook. You must be ready to help me prepare and test different dishes. You do not need to be a whiz in the kitchen as long as you enjoy cooking. It is not a requirement, but an advantage, that you are skilled at computer work and social media.

You do not need a healthcare education, as long as the chemistry is there and you can master or be trained in the tasks. I place high value on smiles, humor, trust, responsibility, flexibility and stability. For me safety is important. In addition it is a requirement that you have good hygiene, that you do not smoke and do not use perfume when you are at work. You must, together with the team, be able to cover sick leaves, holidays and vacations as my BPA arrangement is self-financing.
