Disability helper wanted for BPA arrangement for a 29-year-old man in Billund

About the position

I can offer a part-time position of 30 hours per week with shifts from 16-22 Monday to Wednesday and 9-15 Thursday-Friday. There is also the possibility of extra shifts during holiday periods. While I am the supervisor, the employer responsibility is handled by Olivia Denmark, which hires in accordance with the current collective agreement with FOA.

Job responsibilities include

· Help getting up and going to bed (getting dressed/undressing, personal care, etc.)

· Help with bathing and toilet visits

· Basic cooking and assistance with meals

· Administration of medication

· Maintenance of BiPAP machine

· Other practical help (cleaning, washing up, etc.)

· Companionship to activities outside the home (standard driver's license required)

I am looking for someone who is patient, cooperative and solution-oriented, and who is aware of their responsibility as a disability helper. Without you, it is difficult to make everyday life work, so it is essential that you are reliable. Previous experience in the welfare sector is not a requirement, but is welcome.

About me

My name is Morten, and I am a 29-year-old man from Billund. As a wheelchair user with muscle dystrophy, I need help with most things, but that does not stop me from trying to live an active life. And unlike physical limits, my mood does not fail. As a politically active film enthusiast and diligent computer user, I have plenty to keep me busy. Therefore I am looking for someone who can be my arms and legs, but who steps back when I don\'t need help, which you must be able to thrive with.

I share the house with my mother, but we have our own separate area, and you are expected to respect this division. You should regard my area as your workplace, but the rest of the house as a private home. My area consists of a room, a kitchen and a bathroom, in addition to a helper room.
