Disability support worker wanted for permanent night shift in Helsinge

We are seeking 2 new disability carers for permanent positions with a male citizen in his mid-60s , who lives in 3200 Helsinge .

The citizen communicates independently and is actively involved in his daily life. You will become part of a well-functioning and flexible team, where there is good and close cooperation between the citizen and the carers.

About the position

• Working hours: 32-36 hours per week
• Shift type: Fixed awake night shift
• Shift length: 12-hour shifts from 20:00 to 08:00
• There may be extra shifts due to illness and holidays in the team
• Start: As soon as possible
• Before starting there will be a meet-and-greet visit and thorough training
• A driving licence is required , as the citizen's handicap car is used for, among other things, shopping and appointments

About the task

The citizen uses a wheelchair and needs help and support with everyday tasks. Your duties will include, among other things, personal care, practical assistance and respiratory tasks.

You will receive thorough training in all tasks in close collaboration with the citizen and your future colleagues, so you feel confident and well equipped for the job.

As a helper you become an important part of the citizen's daily life. Therefore we emphasise stability, responsibility and good cooperation. You also become part of an established team where there is a good relationship between the citizen and the carers, and where flexibility and good team spirit are given high priority.

• Is reliable and responsible
• Enjoys working at night and can remain calm and focused

• Is prepared to take on both personal care and practical tasks
• Has a driving licence and is comfortable driving a handicap car
• Is flexible and has good team spirit when, for example, illness or extra help is needed during holidays

You do not necessarily need a health care education. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, are reliable and eager to learn the task.
