Head of AI and BI Development

Do you want the overall responsibility for ensuring that AI and BI take solid hold - strategically, operationally and in practice close to the business?

HOFOR is in the midst of a targeted digital development, where business intelligence and artificial intelligence are playing an increasingly important role in ensuring efficient, sustainable and future-proofed supply. Therefore we have established a new section for AI and BI and are seeking a section head who can set direction, create momentum and ensure that we translate technological opportunities into concrete value for HOFOR.

Leadership, strategy and development of the AI and BI area

You will become the leader of a newly established section with experienced specialists in AI and BI. The section's role is to mature and develop HOFOR's use of BI and AI, from reporting, analyses and management information to AI-based solutions, digital assistants, concrete use cases and more strategic uses across the business. To achieve good results in the role, you must be able to work closely with the business, digitalization and other domains, so that needs, priorities and solutions hang together across the organization.

You report to the head of the Digital Business Development department and work closely with the business, digitalization and other relevant departments.

Your tasks will be

• Help set a clear strategic and professional direction for HOFOR's AI and BI initiatives
• Ensure that AI technologies are used responsibly, value-creating and in line with HOFOR's needs, maturity, tools and governance
• Further develop the BI area with focus on common standards, clear roles and responsibilities, reporting, management information and common principles for the use of insights
• Create good collaboration relationships with the business and translate needs into concrete BI and AI solutions
• Lead and develop a section with experienced professional profiles where trust, sparring, responsibility and professional quality are in focus
• Have an overview of technological platforms and opportunities, including Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and related AI and data technologies

Experience in leadership and the AI and BI area

We imagine that you have experience leading specialists combined with a strong technical and data-based foundation. You must be able to set direction, create prioritization and ensure progress in an area where technology, business and organization must be closely aligned. You don't need to be a specialist in everything, but you must be able to understand, challenge and translate complex solutions into clear decisions, practical deliverables and responsible use.

We place emphasis on you

• Have good knowledge of AI technologies and BI initiatives
• Have an understanding of platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry and Copilot Studio for development, operation and governance of AI-, data- and machine learning solutions
• Have insight into how ML solutions are built, put into operation and monitored in practice, including data pipelines, deployment and MLOps
• Can work strategically and at the same time translate direction into prioritized initiatives
• Thrives in the intersection between business, technology and digitalization
• Communicate clearly, involve the right stakeholders and manage to create buy-in
