Head of Department at Agerbækhuse – strong in leadership, operations and finance

Do you have solid leadership experience and a focus on safe operations, financial management and shift planning? Then Agerbækhuse is seeking a visible and action-oriented department head who can set direction, create following and ensure high quality for both citizens and staff.

About Agerbækhuse

Agerbækhuse is a §108 facility offering six houses for 37 citizens as well as a §107 respite place. The citizens have permanent and complex psychological and physical developmental impairments, and we are about 150 permanent staff and on-call substitutes. In May 2028 we move to new premises in Herfølge, and you will play a central role in ensuring a safe and well-planned transition.

Your management tasks will be

You will be responsible for the daily management and operations in two houses, including personnel management, occupational safety, professional quality, finance, resource management and shift planning. You will follow up on budget and staffing and ensure a stable and efficient operation in close collaboration with the shift planner, the rest of the management and relevant partners. You have a on-call duty function a maximum of every 3rd weekend.

Your qualifications

• has documented experience with leadership, personnel responsibility and safe operations.
• has solid experience with budget follow-up, financial management and resource prioritization.
• has practical experience with KMD Opus Scheduling and work time planning.
• has a relevant social-pedagogical background and preferably a leadership education at diploma level.
• you stand strong in your leadership identity.
• is visible, clear and motivating and can create structure, following and a good working environment.
• can collaborate professionally with employees, relatives, authorities and other partners.
• has knowledge of use-of-force rules and preferably experience with LA2U.

Employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week. Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
