Head of Department for Botilbud Skovmosen and Frederiksborgvej – become part of our new leadership team

Do you want to lead the pedagogical development at the residential care homes Skovmosen and Frederiksborgvej,

and are you motivated to build a strong, cross-organisational leadership collaboration?

Then you may be our new department head.

The position is 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible and no later than 1 January 2027.

About the position

In Allerød Municipality we are now bringing together our residential care homes in the specialised adult area under one common organizational framework. As department head at Skovmosen and Frederiksborgvej you will have the daily pedagogical, personnel-related and operational responsibility for a department that forms the framework for well-being

and development for young adults with mental health vulnerabilities.

You will become a key person in a newly established leadership group, which besides you consists of two department heads

from the other offerings and our new operations manager. Together we shall set the direction for the future residential care homes

in the municipality.

As department head you will be responsible for

• personnel management and the near, daily leadership of the staff group at the residential care homes
• professional leadership and ensuring and communicating the pedagogical direction based on social rehabilitation
• planning in collaboration with our new scheduling coordinator
• implementation of pedagogical methods, professional approaches and resident involvement
• close cross-disciplinary collaboration across the four residential care unit facilities in the organization
• ensuring close, trusting and transparent collaboration with relatives, external partners

and the authorities department

• developing and maintaining a work environment with high social capital, with influence and well-being.

About you

We expect that you have a pedagogical or other relevant social/healthcare background and

have a solid knowledge of the social psychiatry residential care area.

• have experience with management in a 24-hour setting
• have documented experience with the target group (adults with mental vulnerabilities)
• have solid experience with personnel management, operations control and preferably an additional leadership qualification
• possess strong relational competencies and manage to keep an overview in a busy daily routine
• believe in the value of a close leadership community where you share both successes and challenges.

The residential care homes in Allerød Municipality are divided, so Skovmosen and Frederiksborgvej house residents

with mental vulnerability, while Solvænget and Skovbo primarily house residents with intellectual disabilities. Our overarching core task is to create value and development for the individual citizen.
