Head of Department for Caverion's Marine, Industrial and Energy business in Esbjerg

For Caverion's Marine, Industrial and Energy business in Esbjerg we are looking for a Department Manager for Electrical Service.

At Caverion we work, among other things, with complex technical solutions within Marine, Industrial and Energy – MIE. We deliver installation, service and commissioning to some of Denmark's largest industrial and energy customers, and at the same time play an active role in the green transition.

Your role and the department

As department head you will have overall responsibility to build, develop and lead the service department with a focus on people, customers, operations and business. You will become a central part of the management and have an important role in ensuring that the department delivers high quality, creates value for customers and simultaneously develops in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

You will lead a strong and capable team, where you create direction, engagement and good conditions for employees to succeed. You have an eye for both daily operations and the longer horizon and can translate strategy into concrete goals and results.

An important part of the role is the close dialogue with our employees, customers and partners. You are involved in developing relationships, identifying new opportunities and ensuring that we continue to be an attractive and professional partner.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in building and developing a service business
• Strong commercial skills and a sense for growth opportunities
• Experience with customer development and building strong, long-term relationships
• Understanding of and experience with technical service contracts
• The ability to translate strategy into concrete initiatives and measurable results
• Experience with both operations and business development
• Experience with people management and the ability to create followership
• A high degree of independence, decisiveness and initiative
• A structured and results-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities
• A strong team-oriented approach and the ability to foster collaboration across teams
• Experience with people management

Your area of responsibility will be

To lead the building and strategic development of a service department within the Marine, Industrial and Energy business area – responsible for creating growth, strong customer relationships and a healthy, scalable business by:

• Expanding existing customer relationships
• Identifying new service agreements
• Developing new services/service concepts
• Actively contributing to bid work and sales activities
• Integrating existing service activities
• Building the necessary processes
• Ensuring profitable operations
• Ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
• Developing own technician capacity over time
• Ensuring scalability and organization in collaboration with the rest of the MIE leadership team
