About the job

Lindelunden is not only looking for a head of department who can participate in ensuring operations and quality.

We are looking for a leader who together with us can build on a culture where influence and responsibility co-create the house's future together with the residents.

A culture where leadership is not primarily about having all the answers, but about co-creating the conditions that make it possible to succeed as a human being - both as an employee and a resident.

We believe the conditions are psychological safety and an environment where competencies can unfold and where mistakes are seen as part of learning. We focus on the idea that well-being, influence and responsibility create better professional quality - and ultimately more quality of life for both residents and employees.

The Lindelunden care facility Lindelunden's professional foundation is a rehabilitative and recovery-oriented approach, where respect and dignity are two central guiding stars in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration.

In your daily collaboration you will meet 48 residents aged 30-85, each with their own apartment under § 105 stk. 2 and § 83 and 85 spread over 4 floors.

The residents are challenged by social and psychological vulnerability often combined with somatic challenges and dual diagnoses.

Lindelunden is organized on the four floors of the house and with an interdisciplinary team attached to each floor. But in daily life we work together throughout the house and help each other where there is a need. We actively work with resident-perceived quality of life through individual influence and meaning in everyday life – the latter for both residents and employees.

More about you as a leader It is not essential whether you have a lot or little experience, but more your approach to leadership. Lindelunden seeks a leader who wants to work for the common strength both in management as well as among employees and residents. A leader who has the courage to hold back their own answers to promote others' learning and development. In addition:

  • You see leadership as something created in relationships and communities
  • Are focused on creating a clear direction while also creating space
  • Have a view for both operations, well-being and development
  • Find energy in supporting employees' initiatives and ideas
  • Aim to co-develop organizational capacity rather than dependence on individuals

Which employee group will you lead

You will lead a cross-disciplinary employee group where more than half of the group have joined within the last two and a half years. We work as mentioned with high involvement of employees and there have been many positive changes at Lindelunden, both professionally and in the work environment, as a result.

It is an employee group you will be most successful with if you understand to be curious, inclusive and clear about direction and frames while also giving space for solutions to be developed collaboratively.

The task more concretely A sample of your tasks will be

  • Contribute to maintaining and developing the facility's structure for the benefit of the citizen-related effort.
  • Responsible for the meeting schedule including ensuring that working hours rules, collective agreements, vacation planning, recording changes, etc. are done in accordance with applicable rules.
  • Actively co-responsible for ensuring a healthy and positive working environment as well as high well-being among employees.
  • Contribute to developing task solving in the residential facility in accordance with the strategy for the facility and the area.
  • Ensure that the professional effort in relation to the Social Services Act and Health Act is carried out at a high professional level and documented correctly as well as in effective processes.
  • In collaboration with the facility manager handle sick leave according to applicable sickness absence policy as well as holding sickness absence meetings and other employee meetings.
  • Ensure that performance review meetings are held.
  • Ensure professional development of the Residential Facility and that agreed direction and goals are followed.
  • Assist in recruiting new employees and ensure good reception and onboarding.
  • Keep yourself continuously informed about policies and developments in Roskilde Municipality among others through Intra, MED minutes, etc..

You will succeed best with us if

  • You are motivated to develop solutions together with others
  • You are settled in the leadership role and see learning as part of the task
  • Your approach to good leadership ultimately is about making the organization stronger through structure and framework and less dependent on individuals.
  • Your basic education is within the health field and preferably with experience regarding vulnerable citizens and a rehabilitative and recovery-oriented approach.

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement. A criminal record check and references will be obtained before employment.
