About the job

At the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department in Region Midt, BUA, we are seeking a leadership colleague for our health administration leader.

Do you have a strong health administration expertise and an understanding of being a leader in a politically steered organization? Do you want to help make a difference for patients in child and adolescent psychiatry?

We are looking for a health administrative leader who will join in a partnership with the current health administrative leader. Together you as a leadership team will lead BUA’s health administration group and contribute to further developing the staff’s professional skills and collaboration across teams and areas.

We want a leader with experience and strong abilities to strengthen and develop the shared working environment. Together with your leadership mate you will have the task of uniting the staff, and you will have the professional and personnel responsibility for the group. Your task will be to ensure that daily operations, professional quality and development go hand in hand with high well-being and motivation.

BUA’s health administrative group consists of more than 60 skilled employees, distributed across three sites in Gødstrup, Viborg and Aarhus. The group is divided into four clinic teams, four ward units, two cross-functional teams and two daytime units. We are facing expansions and a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding. In daily work we help each other across sites and solve tasks both within our own area and across the department.

We continuously work on projects, optimization of work processes and with new AI solutions, where you will help lead the way.

To secure, strengthen and develop our good working environment, the health administrative group has in the past year focused on psychological contracts and organizational membership. We want a leader who is prepared to continue in that direction for the benefit of the shared working environment. In BUA we want to see each individual’s needs and competencies as part of the whole, and we are mindful of balancing individual needs and wishes in relation to the tasks we have in BUA.

The two leaders of the health administrative group have a mutually binding collaboration regarding personnel responsibility as well as planning and prioritization of work tasks. There are interfaces to many different departments and sectors. All service leaders in BUA report directly to the department management. As the health administrative leader you will be part of a close collaboration and community with the entire management circle of 25 people, who place a high value on equal leadership. There are good opportunities for sparring.

In the position there is presence at AUH, BUA Viborg and Region Hospital Gødstrup.

  • opportunity for additional management training
  • an ward management secretary who supports you with administrative tasks
  • a staff in BUA who gladly helps with development and quality tasks
  • a well-planned introduction program with a linked mentor.

  • have or are interested in a management education
  • have a health administrative background
  • focus on the working environment including development of staff, especially in relation to the organization’s needs and the individual staff member’s competences and interests
  • can contribute to the organization’s cohesion and further development
  • handle the leadership task with focus on working environment and quality – including being listening, appreciative and motivating
  • enter into a leadership partnership where collaboration and recognition are key
