About the job

Do you want to lead in making quality and compliance a strategic strength in Amgros?

We are seeking a Quality and Compliance Chief who can unite, strengthen and further develop Amgros' quality and compliance work. The position is newly created because we have chosen to bring our competencies across regulatory areas into a new consolidated department.

You will get a leadership position with great influence on how quality and compliance are organized, prioritized and developed in Amgros going forward. You will need to bring together professional areas, create a common direction and build a strong professional environment around the area. The role is for you who can see quality and compliance as much more than control. For us it's about creating robust processes, clear responsibilities, strong governance and practical solutions that work in everyday life and support our core task.

Amgros has a central role in the Danish healthcare system. Amgros ensures the supply of medicines to the Danish public hospitals through effective negotiations, procurement, tenders and collaborations across the healthcare system. Together with hospital pharmacies we ensure that the necessary medicines are available to patients in hospitals, and we contribute to bringing new medicines onto the Danish market.

We are in a time where the requirements for quality, regulatory compliance, information security and data protection are becoming increasingly important for the supply. It requires how we govern, document and develop our work across the organization. Amgros must be able to navigate safely in a landscape with increasing demands for NIS2, GDPR, information security, GXP and risk management.

A key function with great influence

As Head of Quality and Compliance you will have the overall responsibility for Amgros' quality and compliance system, leading the department's specialists and the role as Responsible Person (RP).

You will be a central part of the organization's leadership and will have an important role in translating strategic goals into concrete quality and compliance initiatives. As the professional driving force behind the development of quality and compliance in Amgros you will be responsible for both the daily operation and the long-term development of the quality area and will become an important sparring partner for the management in questions about quality, risks and compliance.

Quality and Compliance ensures that compliance requirements and needs are naturally built into our processes and support our ability to execute.

You will lead a strong specialist team of 5 employees with competencies in GDP, GDPR, NIS2, as well as IT quality and GXP quality management systems.

In addition to leading the department and the strategic development of the area, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure GDPR, NIS2 and GXP compliance
  • Be Responsible Person (GDP) for Amgros
  • Improve processes and governance for quality and compliance at Amgros
  • Analyze quality data and translate insights into concrete improvement initiatives
  • Ensure inspection readiness as well as the conduct of authority inspections, audits and self-inspections
  • Approve and advise on deviations, changes, risk assessments and other quality issues
  • Drive the annual quality management reviews, including the QMR, and report significant quality matters to management
  • Support the organization with training, sparring and development of the quality culture.

Your profile

You have a relevant higher education degree and substantial experience within compliance and regulatory requirements, and you should ideally have experience in leading specialists in a regulated organization. You thrive in a role with many stakeholders and are able to create overview and momentum in complex contexts. With high professional integrity and a pragmatic approach you translate complex issues into solutions that make sense in everyday life.

At the same time you are motivated by developing a new department, bringing together different professional disciplines and creating a strong professional community with quality and compliance as a common focus.

In addition, we envision that you

  • Have in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, risk management, compliance and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical area - preferably as Responsible Person.
  • Can translate requirements and data into concrete solutions, improvements and business value
  • Work strategically and thrive in driving cross-functional initiatives that deliver results across the organization
  • Communicate clearly and credibly and manage to build strong relationships and followership among both leaders and employees so that decisions are translated into practice.

Amgros as the workplace

You will become head of Quality and Compliance and report to the Director of Business Development and IT, Torben Søe Petersen. You will work closely with the board and the organization's other eight managers and will have a central role in ensuring that quality and compliance support Amgros' strategy and continued development.

At Amgros you will be part of an organization with an important societal purpose, where high professionalism, short decision paths, collaboration and accountability go hand in hand. You will experience a workplace with high job satisfaction, where colleagues both respect and care about each other.
