Head of Section for ICT Management and Digital Development

Are you motivated by making BIM, 3D and ICT management work in practice across design, construction and operation? As a section chief at Banedanmark you will have a role where you are closely involved in the daily task execution and lead a professionally specialized section with employees in direct reporting.

You will become part of a client organization with a workforce of ICT managers and coordinators, and you will have a central task in ensuring an efficient operation of the ICT management task in our infrastructure renewal projects. It is about implementing new digital tools in the design phase and better use of data across project phase and operation phase as well as resource allocation to the employees who sit in the projects. We work towards a common goal of supporting a safe and stable railway for passenger and freight transport.

Your tasks

You must both ensure stable operation in the section and translate digital possibilities into solutions that can be used in Banedanmark's projects and in collaboration with operations. Your tasks will include, among others, that:

• Ensure an efficient and uniform handling of ICT management in Banedanmark's infrastructure projects through clear prioritization, resource planning and professional leadership.
• Have personnel responsibility for employees in direct reporting, including two team leaders, a professional coordinator and two other employees, and follow up on prioritization and task execution.
• Implement new digital tools in the design process, so workflows and deliverables become more uniform and efficient.
• Strengthen the connectivity between projects and operations by ensuring that BIM data and digital deliveries support the requirements for documentation, asset data and the subsequent management of the infrastructure.
• Contribute to standardization of ICT management across Banedanmark and in dialogue with other public clients.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who can go directly into the task and create coherence between management, BIM expertise and practical implementation in a complex infrastructure organization. We would like you to recognise yourself in the following:

• You have management experience and experience with personnel responsibility in a professionally specialized function.
• You have experience with 3D- and BIM-tools in civil engineering projects or possibly construction.
• You have experience with ICT management in projects where design, data and deliveries must hang together.
• You can translate new technological possibilities into concrete workflows, benefits and implementation plans.
• You have experience collaborating across project organization and operations on common solutions and priorities.

Part of a leadership group

You will become part of a leadership group of 5 section chiefs and a regional head who together lead an area of around 130 people. We have an open dialogue and help each other with challenges locally and across.

You will have a pragmatic boss with high ambitions, but who also gives room to take responsibility yourself. There is an expectation that we address the problems we see and stay with them, even if they do not naturally lie within our area of responsibility, until the right person is found to take over.

Salary and terms of employment

As an academic employee you are hired under the then applicable agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

The classification is as a chief consultant with personnel leadership according to the applicable agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competences there is a possibility for negotiation of supplements. There will be an employer-funded pension scheme of 18.07% attached to the total salary.

For HK the employment will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The State Area (OAO-S collective agreement) and the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory assistants and IT employees.

The position is placed in salary grade 4 according to the applicable agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competences there is a possibility for negotiation of supplements. There will be an employer-funded pension scheme of 16% attached to the total salary.

The position could potentially be filled on a permanent basis.
