Head of the Accounting Department in Holbæk

Can you elevate your colleagues, be close to the customers and develop a department in growth?

We are seeking a department head with an accounting or audit background for our office in Holbæk. You will lead a professionally strong team, and you will also work with your own clients in accounting and auditing. You will get a job where you can both go into depth with the discipline and help set the direction for the department.

Your responsibilities

Customer work

• You have your own client portfolio and advise owner-managers on tax, finances and accounting.
• You work with financial statements and provide accounting assistance for sole proprietorships and companies.
• You are a sparring partner for the customers and ask the difficult questions so that the business has a solid basis for decision-making in the future.
• You help colleagues solve complex customer cases.
• You handle inquiries from existing and potential customers by phone and email, and you also hold customer meetings.

Development of the department

• You set goals and direction for the department together with the director and the other department heads.
• You develop the department's services, workflows and professional level.
• You contribute to attracting new customers and strengthening the department's position in the area.
• You are the line manager for the department's employees and are responsible for well-being, professional development and collaboration.

About you

• Have a relevant education in accounting or auditing or equivalent experience.
• have experience with accounting and auditing work and customer contact, preferably from agriculture or small and medium-sized enterprises
• have leadership experience or a clear desire to become a leader
• are good at collaborating across departments, locations and disciplines
• are good at communicating and helping others succeed
• are curious and action-oriented and enjoy both driving and developing
