Are you passionate about developing and creating positive changes for children and young people? Can you bring people together around a common task and create coherence and well-being? Then the position as Head of UngJammerbugt is a rare opportunity to work with the entire spectrum of youth initiatives.

As Head of UngJammerbugt you will have the opportunity to develop and set the direction for an organization with broad scope, high visibility and substantial political attention. You will become the leader of about 29 employees, a department head, and you will be responsible for both the pedagogical, strategic and administrative leadership of all of UngJammerbugt.

UngJammerbugt is Jammerbugt Municipality's municipal after-school and youth club offerings for children and young people. The organization brings together the youth school activities and the special school UngeCampus under one common umbrella. There is a wide range of leisure groups, activities, youth houses and communities for young people from across the municipality.

Through initiatives such as TIT – Back in Wellbeing – support children and young people with early signs of distress and school non-attendance in close collaboration with schools, families and other professionals. Many young people use the services, and the youth school experiences great interest and demand.

UngeCampus functions as the municipality's most specialized offering for young people with extensive school absence, school aversion and other complex challenges. Here, efforts are targeted at creating new participation opportunities and development pathways for young people who, for a period, have found it difficult to be part of the general learning communities.

You will lead an organization characterized by engaged and competent employees who are passionate about working with children and young people. Employees experience great meaning in their task, and there is a strong tradition of taking initiative, developing new ideas and creating good frameworks and offerings for the municipality's young people. At the same time, UngJammerbugt is in an important development phase where even stronger coherence across the organization's different offerings, staff groups and campuses must be created.

As a leader in Jammerbugt Municipality you report to the head of schools and day care, and you will be part of both a school leadership team and network as well as other cross-disciplinary networks in the municipality. You are expected to be able to lift your gaze from your own daily life and base yourself on a shared perspective, so you put both your knowledge and the school's competences to use for the whole municipality and contribute to the common challenges and solutions.
