About the job

Do you want to develop people, create direction and lead a health administrative function in development?

Hørecenter Sjælland is seeking a health administrative leader who is motivated by developing people, creating clear frameworks and strengthening the quality in patient pathways. You will have the opportunity to combine staff leadership, secure operations and development in a highly specialized patient area.

We are on an important development journey. A number of initiatives have already been launched to create a more robust health administrative organization with clear workflows, broader cover of competencies, high quality of registration and less dependence on individuals. As our new SAL you will be responsible for maintaining and anchoring the direction—and at the same time have the opportunity to, together with the staff and the rest of the leadership, put your own stamp on the further development.

A leadership position with the opportunity to make a difference

As a health administrative leader you will become a central part of the Hearing Center's leadership and have overall leadership responsibility for the health administrative employee group. You will become an important partner for the Hearing Center's other leadership and professional groups and must create coherence between daily operations and the continued development of the health administrative function.

As SAL you will also contribute to coordination and administrative support of the Hearing Center's overall leadership.

The position includes both operational, professional and development-oriented leadership tasks. You will therefore have the opportunity to work closely with the employees while also keeping an eye on the larger organizational contexts, patient pathways, quality and the strategic development of the health administrative area.

Your key tasks

As a health administrative leader you will among other things be responsible for

  • leading, motivating and developing Hearing Center's health administrative employees
  • creating direction and followership through clear, presence-based and trusting leadership
  • ensuring stable and robust work planning for the health administrative area
  • systematically working with competency development, training and knowledge sharing
  • supporting clear roles, responsibilities and mandates in the employee group
  • ensuring high quality in registration, documentation and use of the Health Platform
  • following up on activity, workflows and quality data and translating knowledge into concrete improvements
  • contributing to development and standardization of patient pathways and administrative workflows
  • supporting good and coherent patient pathways and professional patient communication
  • working with culture, collaboration, learning and shared responsibility for the core task
  • closely collaborating with the audiological staff and other professional groups and partners
  • contributing to coordination and administrative support of the Hearing Center's overall leadership

A moving organization

You take over a staff group where a new organization of the health administrative task solving has already begun. A new work organization has been established with clearer functions and rotation between central work areas. Work includes, among other things, telephone, triage and appointment scheduling, incoming inquiries, wrap-up of visits, year-end closing and data conversion.

At the same time, special professional functions have been established and developed, including a clinical coordinator and deputy SAL, super-users and registration responsible persons, as well as a practice supervisor.

Your task is not to start from scratch, but to bring the new structures to life in daily work, evaluate them and develop them further together with the staff.

An important ambition is to move the organization from person-dependent competencies toward a more robust organization where knowledge is shared, more people can perform core tasks, and special professional functions support quality and learning across the group.

Leadership close to the core task

The Hearing Center is a complex area with many different patient pathways and collaboration interfaces. Therefore we are looking for a leader who can both have a view of daily operations and simultaneously lift their gaze and work with long-term development.

You do not need to have the answer to everything yourself. However, we expect you to be curious, able to create structure in complexity and be clear about priorities, responsibilities and expectations. You should be able to stay close to the employees without taking over their tasks and create conditions where the employees' professionalism and responsibility can develop.

A good start as a leader

You will not be left to yourself from day one. Upon your entry there will be a planned handover and onboarding from the health administrative leader who currently leads the development work at the Hearing Center.

You will be introduced to the staff group, the new work organization, the ongoing development tracks, central partners and the issues that still need to be worked on.

The goal is to create continuity in the development work while you get room to establish yourself as a leader and set your own direction together with the organization.

We offer

With us you do not just get a leadership position—you get the opportunity to help shape the development of the health administrative function in a specialized area with high ambitions for quality, patient safety and coherent patient pathways.

  • a meaningful leadership position with real influence on operations, organization, quality and culture
  • opportunity to continue and shape an already started development journey
  • close collaboration with dedicated leaders and staff
  • opportunity to work with organizational development, culture, quality and competency development
  • a planned onboarding and handover that gives you a solid foundation in the role
  • good opportunities for professional and personal development
  • a workplace where collaboration, integrity and respect are central values
