Holistic physiotherapist wanted for Svane Pleje, Silkeborg

We are in the midst of implementing the new Elderly Act and we need a therapist who can collaborate with both citizens and employees around good holistic care processes.

About the position

It is a prerequisite that you are well-grounded in ADL training and everyday rehabilitation and that you can see yourself with a broad portfolio of tasks. We are looking for a therapist who both has a citizen-oriented view and can support and develop the care staff's professional skills and, together with the managers and the team, can help strengthen the interdisciplinary teams, and actively contribute to the implementation of the new Elderly Act.

Your day will be varied and it is important that you can handle and contribute to the many diverse tasks. You will have the overall responsibility for rehabilitation, reconditioning and prevention in the holistic care pathways, where you yourself oversee and carry out programs as well as can delegate tasks to the care staff. In other words, you are co-decision maker in professional development and implementation of new measures.

You should expect that your workweek is divided with about half the week for holistic care and the other half for therapeutic tasks.

You will have a base at the office on Glarmestervej 18, 8600 Silkeborg, but will be required to handle tasks across Silkeborg Municipality. You will become part of the therapist team across Svane Care, which regularly meets online and sometimes in person. Here you will always have the opportunity for professional sparring.

Responsibilities are primarily

• Identify and assess citizens' functional ability and identify needs for help.
• Plan and conduct training programs.
• Advise and support care in how they can support training programs and rehabilitation.
• Manage transfer assessment and ordering of APV tools.
• Document professionally and clearly in the citizen's journal.
• Contribute to development and quality assurance in the pathways.
• Orientation toward voluntarism and civil society, so it can become part of the citizen's everyday life.
• Teach ergonomics and lifting in our internal onboarding course together with the health care coordinator, once a month.
• Perform holistic care on par with other employees

Application and employment conditions

We offer permanent employment, with primary working hours between 7-15, though there may be a need for consideration during other hours. Salary and terms of employment according to qualifications.
