Helper wanted for a special and meaningful role – near Hadsten/Favrskov (30 hours per month)

Would you like to become an important part of a child's life – and be the safe, stable adult who makes a difference in everyday life?

We are seeking an assistant for Viktor, a lovely 8-year-old boy who lives in Selling with his family. Viktor is full of energy, curiosity and zest for life. He has moderate to severe autism and a mild developmental delay, and he needs an adult by his side who can create calm, direction and good experiences.

About Viktor

Viktor goes to 2nd grade at a special school and benefits from a daily life with clear structure and recognizability. He is sensory-seeking and loves being in movement – and he thrives best with adults who meet him with patience, warmth and a smile.

With Viktor, the relationship is central. When he feels safe, he opens up and invites play, laughter and presence.

Your role

As an assistant you become an important part of Viktors daily life. You help create the small moments that give him security and joy.

Your tasks will include

• To support and guide Viktor in play and activities
• To create structure and predictability in the time together
• To be present and follow his initiatives – while also showing the way
• To be active and able to keep up with his pace
• To accompany on trips and work closely with the family

Car is provided, but a driving license is required.

About you

You are a person who is secure in yourself and meet others with calm and respect. Perhaps you have experience with children with special needs – or you have a natural understanding and willingness to learn.

• Are stable, responsible and trustworthy
• Can stay calm and create security – even when things become intense
• Have knowledge of or interest in low arousal
• Want to commit to a relationship over time
• Can see the value in small steps and moments

It is important that you can travel to Selling on your own.

Working hours

30 hours per month, distributed across weekday evenings and/or weekends.

Work schedule is known at least 4 weeks in advance.
