Helsingør Diocese seeks a parsonage consultant for agriculture

Helsingør Diocese seeks, for a fixed-term from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2030, a parsonage estate consultant for agriculture.

The appointment is a fixed-term for a period of 4 years and is a secondary occupation.

Profile

To be considered as a parsonage estate consultant for agriculture, you must have an agricultural professional education such as an agronomist or similar. Instead of employing a person as parsonage estate consultant, we may choose to enter into an agreement with an agricultural advisory center to perform the function as the diocese's parsonage estate consultant.

Tasks

The tasks involve advice and guidance to parish councils, deanery committees and the diocese upon request regarding tenancy agreements and rights related thereto as well as other dispositions over parsonage farms, including purchase, sale or lease of real estate as well as construction, conversion and demolition of buildings or regarding servitudes on a property.

You shall, as parsonage estate consultant, upon request, provide statements in cases concerning the above areas.

It is important to note that you as parsonage estate consultant must not undertake design tasks for parish councils within the diocese you are employed by, unless the diocese exceptionally approves it.

As a parsonage estate consultant you act as an adviser to the church authorities according to the rules in:

Please note that the Ministry of Health and Ecclesiastical Affairs expects to issue revised administrative regulations for public consultation during September 2026. There is a proposal to change the consultants’ areas of expertise, and the changes will therefore be relevant for upcoming appointments. The ministry expects to adopt the administrative regulations in October–November 2026.

Remuneration

The remuneration as of 1 January 2026

• Advisory cases under § 8 in Circular no. 9779 of 6 October 2009 on the joint instruction for the church’s consultants: 1,236 DKK per hour.
• Declaration cases under § 7, para. 1, in Circular no. 9779 of 6 October 2009 on the joint instruction for the church’s consultants: 1,854 DKK per declaration.

The remuneration is supplemented by 12.5% holiday pay, and VAT is not to be added.

Rates are adjusted annually on January 1.
